                Food

                Foods we like:
Buffalo Blue puppy food (Petco, PetsMart)
Newman's Own Organic (Hard to find. Fred Meyers)
Please be aware of the following ingredients, and try to stay way from them:
Corn (GMO), Wheat, Soy (GMO), Meat-by-products, Canola oil (probably GMO), Dyes and coloring (Can cause tear staining)

                Treats

                Picture
I like the pressed rawhide for treats. Your dog won't be able to bite off small pieces and get them lodged in his intestines! I buy these from Petedge.com
For food treats, I give small pieces of cheddar cheese, although any kind of cheese should do. click here for link

                Supplements

                Picture
A good Multi vitamin should to the trick. Here is a brand I like. Doc Roy's from Revivalanimal.com

                Crates & Bedding

                Containment gates:
                Richell Free-Standing Pet Gates.
                http://www.petedge.com/product/Richell-Free-Standing-Pet-Gates/46047.uts
These gates are expandable! They are perfect for blocking off your kitchen or laundry room to keep your puppy contained when you don't want to have to crate him. Similar gates may be found at Costco for a lot less $$$.

                Bedding:
Costco has nice ones. Petedge.com has them too. My dogs love to have something soft to lay on. Buy something that is washable! Here's one that my dogs would die for.

                Crate and crate pads:
I recommend a 200 size crate, although he will fit in a 100 size, the 200 size will give him a little more room when he is fully grown. Get at least 2 crate pads, so if one gets soiled, you can wash it while using the other one.
You can also buy a new travel carrier from me if I have some in stock for $25

                Grooming

                Picture
                Nail clippers:
These are nice because you can see what you are doing, as opposed to the guillotine style ones.

Shampoo: We use Johnson & Johnson's baby shampoo for baths. The Walmart brand (Equate) is good too. I stay away from harsh shampoos and shampoos with lots of fragrance. No need for flea shampoos. You can use simple dish washing liquid to kill fleas, i.e., Dawn, Dove, etc.

                Slicker Brush:

                Where to shop:
Many of the items that I recommend can be found online. Your local pet store is also another good resource. I like the following online suppliers:

                PetEdge.com

General pet supplies, including crates and grooming supplies. Great discounts. Minimum order required to avoid extra charges.

                RevivalAnimal.com

                Medicines, vitamins, etc.

                Ears

This is a great ear solution! Works well to eliminate yeasty ear, smelly ears, and dirty ears. Squirt this into the dogs' ear and massage it around. Do this every day until the problem goes away. In my experience, this usually takes about 3 days.
